More about HARRY KANE
Meet our wonderful Harry Kane! Harry is a sweet and gentle boy who is quite happy to watch the world go by and is generally very steady. Don't mistake his laid back nature for indifference though - once this bonny boy has bonded to you, you've made a friend for life!
Harry absolutely LOVES playing with toys and can often be found throwing them around in the air and bouncing around our paddocks. Considering he is a retired racing greyhound who has not been able to play like this before, it really is a joy to watch. As Harry has spent his life so far in a kennel environment, he is looking for kind and sympathetic new owners who can support him with settling into a home environment. We are confident that Harry will adore the creature comforts of his very own house and we can't wait to see him get his happy ever after, as he really deserves it.
Harry will need some house training in his new home, so will need his very own garden to zoom around in. He's a bit of a couch potato, so is unlikely to be very demanding for exercise but does enjoy a potter on a walk each day. As with some ex-racing dogs, Harry has shown some more focused behaviours around smaller dogs, so he will need to be on lead and muzzled in public. This is not because he is dangerous, it is simply to control any urges he may have to chase! Harry would be a perfect dog for those who have less dog owning experience, or are looking for their first family dog.
Harry has so much to give a new home, he just needs someone kind to teach him what being a loved companion dog is all about. If Harry sounds like he could be the one for you, he'd love to hear from you! Please contact our rehoming team at bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk
