More about JOE

Sweet Joe came to Battersea as a stray, so sadly we have no history for his first years of life.

Since coming in, Joe has shown to be a very sweet but sensitive soul and took a few days to find his feet here in kennels. In his first few days, he showed some worried behaviours around general handling, however built in confidence quickly and now is a very affectionate boy that loves a fuss from his people. He can be quite uncomfortable and avoiding during more formal handling, but has tolerated all vet checks very well and holds no grudges!

Joe has been a friendly boy with all the dogs he has met onsite. He does have a playful side to him, but keeps it at a nice level and has shown good recall around other dogs. New owners should ensure to keep Joe well socialised with a range of different dogs and he may be able to live with another dog in the future.

Joe will need new owners who are understanding of his sensitive side and be patient while he settles into his new home and finds his feet. Once settled, Joe is an absolute sweetheart and wants nothing more than to be in the company of his people. He will make a lovely, gentle cuddle companion in his new home.
