Meet lovely Maia!

Maia arrived at Battersea through no fault of her own due to a change in her owners' circumstances.

Maia is an excitable affectionate big girl who just wants to cuddle up with her people for a good fuss.

Maia loves other dogs and is a playful girl but would benefit from some further training to polish up her manners and recall to manage her big bouncy personality.

Maia is a Cane Corso and so exhibits some guarding traits. At times on site, she has been vocal when unknown people pass her kennel, she has had some training put in place for this and is now showing improvements day by day! Maia has met and made friends with many new people here and will need confident owners who are ready to continue her training and socialisation.

Maia is looking for new owners with previous experience with large dogs and/or guarding breeds who will be confident in handling her as she is a powerful girl!

Maia is a gentle giant with a big voice but even bigger heart and would make a wonderful companion to anyone.
