More about MIKEY

Mikey is a gentle, laid back dog who loves people. He is located at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in rehoming him please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk

Mikey is a bit worried by other dogs, but is comfortable in the company of other Greyhounds and has even had a short game with them. He may be able to live with an existing calm and friendly Greyhound in his new home.

Mikey has spent some time in a temporary foster home where he and loved to play with his toys and snooze. He has been house trained in the foster home and slept downstairs at night time.

He is very affectionate with people and will lean on your legs to have a fuss. He adores playing with toys and this makes him really animated, it is great fun watching him play. He particularly enjoys fluffy toys and tennis balls.

Currently he does not like being left alone, so will need his new owners to very gently and slowly teach him to spend time alone.

Mikey is looking for kind and patient owners who will go at his pace. We're sure that with some time to get used to his new home, he will be a really polite and loving member of the family. He loves to wriggle in his bed, as you can see in the video below.
