More about PHARRELL

Meet our fluffy superstar Pharrell!

Pharrell arrived at Battersea as a stray so we don't have any previous history on him. Since being onsite he has charmed everyone with his handsome looks and sweet, affectionate nature.

Pharrell has some nice social skills in place with other dogs, he can greet nicely, but he can be full on in his playstyle, and he has told off a dog, therefore he would benefit from being the only dog in the home, but to have regular socialisation or walking buddy's to be out and about with.
He has shown some chase behaviour towards smaller dogs and will need owners who can manage him appropriately.

Pharrell is so keen on meeting new people that he can sometimes be too enthusiastic and does have a tendency to jump up often, so he will need to learn some manners such as a solid "off" cue and being rewarded for keeping his four paws on the ground. Considering this along with his size, he is better suited to live with older children.

Alaskan Malamute s are an intelligent breed, so he will need structure and routine in his life along with plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep both his brain and body active. Ideally new owners should have experience with malamutes or husky's or prepared to research the breed.

Pharrell is sure to bring his new home much laughter and joy with his excitable and playful nature!
