More about SHEEBA

Say hi to Sheeba the tiny Husky cross with a giant heart. Sheeba takes time to warm up to new people and situations, but once she does she loves a good fuss. Onsite Sheeba has demonstrated brilliant social skills around other dogs and really enjoys her offlead time playing with other dogs, and exploring the paddocks.

Little Sheeba came from a hoarder home and has been very under socialised. While on site she has struggled with house training and will need patience and understanding while she learns what is expected of her. Sheeba is also a blank slate when it comes to basic training, so you could have great fun teaching her sit, paw, and down; she does however have lovely manners when it comes to food! Due to her lack of socialisation Sheeba can be very worried around new people and handling, and can often use diffusing behaviours too try and manage the situation. By listening to Sheeba and giving her space to approach us, she has built great relationships with her care group, who have then given her the confidence to make friends easier when out and about.

Sheeba is looking for a family that can show her empathy while she learns how to live in a home, have a good understanding of dog body language and have dealt with worried dogs in the past. Due to the worry Sheeba has shown with new people on site, and not having any history of living with children we would be looking to rehome her with older teens in a quiet location.

Sheeba is based at our Brands Hatch centre. If you think you have the right home to offer him, please start the rehoming process on our website. If you are fully registered, please contact the Brands Hatch rehoming team at bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk
