More about Sid
Meet Sid – a cheeky, loving older boy with a great personality!
Sid may be in his later years, but he’s full of life and character. A Terrier–Chihuahua mix, he’s more terrier in nature—curious, active, and always up for an adventure. He loves his walks, enjoys a good sniff around, and will happily curl up for a snooze once he’s had his fun.
Sid is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets, where he can build a bond at his own pace. He can be affectionate and loves sitting on your lap when he chooses—but also values his space and likes to settle on his own too.
He can be left for half a working day as he settles well in an office and will sleep most of the time.
He’s made great progress here, including around handling and vet visits, thanks to ongoing muzzle training and positive reinforcement. Sid needs owners who are calm, confident, and able to read his body language—he’ll thrive with routine, patience, and gentle guidance.
Sid was initially reactive to dogs, but has come a long way with gradual introductions and structured walks. While he still needs space, he can now walk calmly near other dogs and is learning that not every dog is a threat.
He’ll need a secure garden for continued house training and recall work, as he can be easily distracted on walks—but with time and trust, he’s sure to be the most fun and loyal companion.
