More about SNOOKI

Snooki is a fun and chatty Jack Russell cross full of character who is looking for experienced owners who have some knowledge around worried dogs.

In his previous home, Snooki showed some resource guarding behaviours, some reactions to new people and does become very nervous during vet visits, but during his time here at Battersea Old Windsor he has been learning new skills to help manage this and we would recommend this training continues in his new home.

Snooki will need continued training around his dog interactions. He has shown a combination of worried but also independent behaviours when meeting other dogs, sometimes wanting to interact with them, then changing his mind and being unsure.

Snooki will need a private garden where he can explore and relax due to his reactions to unknown people and dogs and for that reason, we feel it would be best for him to be the only dog in the household. He is housetrained will go to the garden door and bark when he wants to go out. Snooki travels well in the car and likes to sit on the back seat looking out the window watching the world go by.

Snooki has shown to be more comfortable around females and does gravitate towards them as opposed to men, he will need owners that can continue his training and understand it may take time for him to build up his confidence around men. When new people come to the house and sit down, he loves to jump onto their laps and wants a fuss.

He loves his food, especially chicken and sausages and loves to play with toys with his bonded people, his favourites are soft toys, but he will also play with ragga’s too. He can be vocal in his play and does play growl during a small tug game.
