Say hello to our very own little legend - Zelda!

This beautiful bundle of joy is growing extremely fast and is likely to become a very large dog due to being a mastiff cross of some kind! She is a an absolute sweetheart and loves playing, especially with her toys, quite often being spotted pottering around our fields with a big soft toy in her mouth for company and reassurance.

Zelda has had a rough first few months of life and due to this has been very under socialised around dogs and people, so will need a gentle and understanding new family, which are sure will receive nothing but love, joy and maybe a little bit of crazy in return! She has made lots of progress with her behaviours around other dogs so far since being with us, but continued positive socialisation is absolutely vital for her going forwards. Being so young, she can be very quick to use her mouth and little sharp teethies in play or when she is overwhelmed, and doesn't quite understand how to regulate herself just yet. She will need confident owners who can teach her more appropriate ways to use her mouth and help her to grow in to a well rounded adult dog.

Lovely Zelda would be best suited to a quieter home location to help integrate her in to the busy world we all live in. We are hoping to find her a home with a mature and steady role model type dog, who can show her the ropes and teach her some gentle manners! A home with a private garden is a must, to help her have zoomie time and learn housetraining and to provide a secure safe space for gradual exposure. Due to the mouthing behaviours we have seen, and her past experiences, we feel a home with older teens will be best.
