Anthony Head and Sarah Fisher supported Battersea for over 25 years, and together provided hands-on care for our animals, taking several Battersea dogs into their home. The couple’s love of animals didn’t stop there, and they contributed to many fundraising and rehoming appeals, being the voice for our TV adverts as well as regularly attending our events. 

Sadly, Sarah passed away in December 2025 and Anthony passed away in June 2026. As a canine behaviourist, Sarah worked tirelessly with our staff and volunteers helping them to apply new techniques to care for some of our most challenging dogs across all three of our sites. We will be forever grateful to both Sarah and Anthony for their incredible support to our animals, staff and volunteers.
