Anthony Head has supported Battersea for over 20 years, and, together, with his late partner Sarah Fisher, provided hands-on care for our animals, taking several Battersea dogs into their home. The couple’s love of animals didn’t stop there, and they have both contributed to many fundraising and rehoming appeals as well as regularly attending our events. We are truly grateful for their dedication to our charity.  Sadly, Sarah passed away suddenly in December 2025. As a canine behaviourist, Sarah worked tirelessly with our staff and volunteers helping them to apply new techniques to care for some of our most challenging dogs.  We remain forever grateful for her incredible support.
