More about Jax

This handsome lad is Jax!

Jax is wonderful boy, who is very good at being a cat! He's got a sharp eye, and loves to hunt - so he'd love his new family to have regular play sessions with him, especially before he's allowed to go outside. String toys are his favourite, as he can stalk, pounce and catch them in the air!

Jax will need access to the outside via a 24/7 cat-flap, so he can come and go as he pleases. He's shown us he can be a bit of an escape artist, so having that choice over his environment will allow him to feel secure. He's not too keen on other cats though, and has been known to chase visitors away. Though he will be fine with a communal garden space, it would be best if there isn't a high cat-population.

Once he's had a good play and released his energy, Jax enjoys snoozing on laps and having social time with his humans. He's got an independent streak too, so when he's ready for some quiet time, he'll take himself to his cosy spots.

Jax prefers a larger litter tray and will need a permanent tray in his new home.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Jax, you can e-mail our rehoming team on cat.rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form to discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/cats.

Please be aware we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those who are a match for the cat you have contacted us about.
