More about Kacha

Meet Kacha!

Now Kacha may be considered a 'senior' cat but give the girl a furry ball or swish a string toy on the floor and you would think she was a kitten. She loves to run around and play with anything she can get her paws on and will wrestle any knitted mouse she sees. When she is ready for a cat nap she will nudge your hand for a few head rubs and will then curl up beside you for a snooze.

Kacha is currently on foster as she wasn't coping in the cattery and despite this it still took her some time to settle and make friends. Due to this Kacha will need a calm, quiet home and will require a bespoke settling plan into a dedicated settling room. This will need all of her resources in it, and lots of places to hide, and new owners should be prepared for her to always see this as her safe room to return to if she’s worried. Kacha would be OK to live with teens and older.

Kacha could possibly live indoor but will require plenty of self play toys and other enrichment items to help keep her physically and mentally stimulated.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Kacha, you can e-mail our rehoming team at cat.rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form to discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/cats.

Please be aware we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those who are a match for the cat you have contacted us about.
