More about ABBIE

Abbie came to us after her previous owners sadly had to give her up due to long working hours. She’s always been a well-mannered, affectionate girl who coped well with time on her own and showed a lovely nature with people, dogs, and even cats.

Since arriving at the centre, Abbie has found kennel life a little overwhelming. She’s especially sensitive when out on walks and can become easily stressed in busy or unfamiliar environments. But even in her anxious moments, Abbie’s kind and trusting nature shines through. She greets everyone she meets with a happy wag and a soft gaze, and she’s shown wonderful manners with other dogs—gently saying hello and then happily exploring at her own pace. She was also a star at her vet check, staying calm, patient, and cooperative throughout.

Abbie is now looking for a calm, loving home where she can settle in her own time. She would thrive with experienced owners who understand rescue dogs and can help her build confidence gently. Once she feels safe and secure, Abbie will no doubt show her loyal, loving side and become a truly wonderful companion.

If you have a quiet home, a kind heart, and the patience to let Abbie blossom, she just might be the perfect match you’ve been waiting for
