More about Abigail

Meet our sweet little Abigail! Abigail arrived at Battersea as a stray so we have no history on her or how she is in a home.

Abigail is a sweet and sensitive soul who can be worried of new people and dogs and is therefore looking for new owners who are aware of her sensitive side and will allow her to settle in at her own pace.

Although she loves spending time with people, she can find interactions with other dogs overwhelming and will often choose to move away rather than interact with them.

She has had less confidence with larger dogs where she has told them off strongly but we are building her confidence back up and teaching her to seek guidance from owners and move herself away if worried and she has been doing well. However with smaller dog she is much For this reason, Abigail would like to be the only dog in the home, with any socialisation taking place in calm, neutral environments. She is an active girl who enjoys walking.

Abigail is seeking a home away from the inner city, ideally with access to her own private garden. She could live with sensible teenagers that can help with her training consistency and may be able to share her home with a dog-savvy cat with slow , steady introductions.

This sweet girl is now ready for a new chapter in her life and a home where she can have all the love and fusses she deserves. She is a delightful girl who will make the most loyal of companions in her new home!
