More about ACORN (& ANCHOVY)
Acorn and Anchovy are a charming pair of Chihuahua’s who are a closely bonded. They can often be found curled up next to one another in a comfortable bed enjoying a nap.
They are spending some time in a temporary foster home and have settled well into the routine. It’s clear that they both adore people and will seek out a chin tickle or want to sit on a lap at any opportunity, and both happily share the attention. They both love to zoom around the garden and Anchovy is particularly fond of snoozing on the decking.
They do need a private garden where they can explore in their own time with no outside pressure, this will also help to build up their confidence. They are quite worried of the wider world and are not dogs who would like to go for a longer walks - some time in the garden and a short walk on lead in a familiar area would be fine for Acorn and Anchovy.
Since being on foster, their playful natures have really come out – Anchovy will chase a small ball and likes to cuddle up in his bed with a soft toy, and Acorn also loves a chew on a rope toy.
Acorn and Anchovy are looking for a calm home, with a fairly consistent routine as we know they enjoy this, where they’ll get plenty of company and affection.
