More about ANT

Meet our little boy Ant.

Ant and his sibling Dec arrived as strays, so we have no history of their life prior to coming into kennels.

Ant is a worried and sensitive little lad who is very under-exposed to the world. Despite this, Ant absolutely adores people. He will climb into anybody's lap and just loves a fuss!

Ant can be nervous around other dogs, and although he enjoys some calm and friendly interactions, is sometimes worried by more intense greets and moves himself away. He could potentially live with a smaller, calm dog, with whom he can have nice gentle companionship, and who will give him space when required.

Sweet Ant is looking for new owners with some previous experience with worried dogs, who will have the time to dedicate to exposing Ant to the outside world at his pace. He is sure to be the cuddliest and most lovable boy in any home lucky enough to have him!

Ant is looking for a home in a quiet location where he can build up his confidence gradually out on gentle walks. He could also potentially live with sensible teens that will understand they need to give him a little space whilst settling.

If you are interested in our Amazing Ant, please contact the rehoming team at: rehoming@battersea.org.uk, ensuring you have first registered for rehoming on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.

Please note that due to volume of enquiries we expect to receive, we will only be able to respond to homes that meet all of Ant's needs.
