More about Athena

Meet our wonderful sweet friend Athena!

Athena is a stunning young Akita who came to us through another rescue, and she’s been stealing hearts ever since. While we don’t know much about her past, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her unique and quirky personality.

True to her breed, Athena is alert, intelligent, and can be a bit vocal when surprised by new people or unfamiliar dogs. She’s shown interest in other dogs and is eager to greet them, though she’s still learning some of the finer points of socialising which will come with time and consistency.

She is a loving and sweet girl who loves a fuss and cuddle from people.

We are looking for a home in a quieter area, with mature carer/s who have experience with the breed type or behaviours described. Luna will need her own garden for all training and as a safe space to explore without any worries or pressure.

If you’re looking for a devoted young pup friend, who still has some learning to do, but has a big heart and a beautiful spirit, Athena might just be the one!
