More about Ava
Ava came into our care as a stray, so we have no information on her prior to arriving with us at Battersea. Sadly, she has clearly had her ears cut at some point in her past.
This lovely lady does have a worried side to her, but over time we are seeing her form lovely bonds with her people, and she absolutely adores a quiet cuddle.
While a little unsure at first, Ava makes thoughtful choices and takes things at her own pace. She enjoys peaceful walks, calm environments, and a good potter around, rather than busy adventures. Around other dogs, she can feel a bit worried but does show signs of trying to play, and has been gradually gaining confidence and showing more eagerness to interact. She would prefer calm companions to socialise with and will need to be the only dog in the home at this time.
Ava would thrive in a quiet home, away from hustle and bustle, where she can truly relax and grow into the wonderful girl we are already beginning to see. Due to her worried behaviours, we feel a more mature household would be best to help continue her journey.
With patience and understanding, Ava will blossom into a gentle & loyal companion. If you’re looking for a big old softie to share life’s quieter moments, Ava could be your perfect match.
