Meet beautiful Belle - a sensitive, friendly and thoughtful lady looking for a calm, reassuring forever home where she can truly be herself and flourish.

Belle has shown herself to be gentle and affectionate, often approaching people for fuss and cuddles. She enjoys informal attention and relaxed contact, and has a lovely calm side when she feels safe and understood.

Belle is a little worried and unsure in new or busy environments, and she often looks to her handlers for reassurance. She prefers quiet confidence building over high-energy play, so would do best as the only dog in the household where she can get the consistent attention and support she needs. There may be potential for Belle to live with a calm, mature and friendly male dog as a supportive role model - not a playmate - but this would only be appropriate following careful introductions.

Belle is a clever girl with existing impulse control and knows basic cues like “sit”. She will benefit from ongoing training to build confidence and recall, and should be left with enrichment toys and routines that help her feel secure. She is eager to please and will turn her paw to most things and have a go!
