More about Big Mac

Meet Big Mac!

Big Mac came to us as a stray after being found outside a McDonalds so we have no information on his history prior to his stay with us. Big Mac is a German Shepherd Akita mix, so he will require an experienced home, with owners who have thoroughly researched his breed type and are committed to his training and development to best set him up for success. During his time at Battersea he has been a dream to look after, being friendly with both known and unknown people. He is also great with dogs so could potentially live in a home with a role model dog who could help introduce him to the world around him and teach him some valuable skills

Due to his breed type Mac would require ample mental and physical stimulation to best meet his needs. He also requires a private garden where he can burn off extra energy before walks and can complete training away from distractions. Big Mac could potentially live with sensible teenagers who would be included in his daily maintenance and training.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Big Mac, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
