More about BIGGIE JACK
Meet our sweet blind boy, Biggie Jack!
Biggie arrived at Battersea through no fault of his own, his previous owners could no longer care for him. They described him as an excitable and playful boy who loved to follow them around and we have seen the same lovely lad onsite. He has been friendly with everyone he has met and shown himself to be the sweetest of boys! However Biggie Jack is blind and will need new owners who have preferably some experience of dealing with a disabled dog as well have the time and patience to allow him to settle into a home in his own time.
More information on what caring for a blind dog involves can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPlxDATtpfI
Biggie is looking for new owners who have some experience with Shepherds or a good knowledge of the breed. He can live with teens 13+ and can possibly live with a dog savvy cat, but we feel he would prefer to be the only dog in the home at this time to get all the love and fusses for himself.
Biggie Jack is a young lad so new owners should be committed to providing some basic training, so he can blossom into a well rounded adult. This lovely boy is ready for a new chapter in life and is sure to bring much joy to any household lucky enough to have him.
If you are interested in our boy Biggie Jack, please contact the rehoming team at: rehoming@battersea.org.uk, ensuring you have first registered for rehoming on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming
Please note due to volume of enquiries we may have at any time, we will only look to contact homes that we feel best meet all of Biggie's needs.
