More about BIGGY

Meet our beautiful Biggy!

This handsome lad arrived at Battersea through no fault of his own, as his owner could no longer provide him with the care he needed. He is a loving boy who adores people and enjoys nothing more than cuddles from his favourite humans!

Biggy is great with people and enjoys the company of other dogs, although would be best suited to being the only dog in the home as he used to become jealous of the dog he previously lived with and struggled to share attention. Biggy has shown some nice social skills onsite, being friendly and playful with other dogs, however, he has shown that he can at times have a bit of a one track mind, struggling to take breaks and lacks the understanding that not all dogs will appreciate his advances.

This fluffy boy has struggled settling into kennel life and can become quite vocal for attention when left alone so Biggy will need owners to be able to work on his separation anxiety and build on his time alone gradually once settled into the home.

Biggy is looking for owners who have experience of owning dogs previously, and are committed to continuing to work on his socialisation skills, as Biggy will need some work around his manners when interacting with other dogs.

Biggy is worried of busy environments so will need slow confidence building, with quiet walking routes to start with. He will need a home in a quiet, out of town location.

If you have not registered to rehome with us yet, please do so on the Battersea website here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming before getting in touch. If after registering, you think they might just be the companion you are searching for, please contact the Rehoming team in London ASAP, on rehoming@battersea.org.uk, providing an overview of your previous experience with dogs, current set up and how you can meet their needs.
