More about Blue

Blue is a delightful black Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is searching for her special place on the sofa and in someone’s heart. She is a sweet, affectionate, and mature girl who loves gentle fuss and enjoys relaxing with her people once she feels settled.

Blue can be a little sensitive when first meeting new people or adjusting to new environments, but with a calm voice, patience, and a few tasty treats, she quickly comes out of her shell. With other dogs she is independent by nature and is happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can enjoy her space and do her own thing.

She walks nicely on lead and prefers quieter routes while she builds confidence. A garden would be a bonus but is not essential, as long as she receives regular, calm exercise and mental enrichment.

Blue has a lovely history of living with children and was described as calm and gentle. Due to her sensitive nature, she would be best suited to a quieter household with older, dog-savvy children (8+) who can interact with her respectfully. She may also be able to live with a cat following slow and careful introductions.

Blue would thrive in a patient, understanding home where someone is around for much of the day initially to help her settle. In return, she will offer loyal companionship, affection, and many cosy moments together.
