More about BRUCE

Sweet Bruce arrived at Battersea via another rescue, so we have no history on him or how he is in a home.

Since being onsite Bruce has shown himself to be a friendly boy, with a little bit of a sensitive side. A little worried of the environment when first arriving and of new people, however he has since settled in and is a wriggly and bouncy lad with his known handlers, who just wants some attention and a fuss!

Bruce, although friendly, is underconfident with other dogs, but true to his breed he does show some frustrations when on lead, often barking and vocal when other dogs are about. At 8 months old he will need new owners who are confident in socialising him in order for him to develop into a well rounded adult dog.

Bruce is a young shepherd, with a lot of energy and drive. He will therefore be looking for owners who have had previous experience with Shepherds and would be able to provide him with the right environment and tools to mature into a well-rounded, social lad! He is looking for a home away from the inner city, with access to his own private garden and can live with teenagers 13 +

If you are interested in Bruce please contact the rehoming team at: rehoming@battersea.org.uk, ensuring you have first registered for rehoming on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.

Please note due to volume of enquiries we may have at any time, we will only look to contact homes that we feel best meet all of Bruce's needs.
