Meet our lovely Cali!

Cali arrived to Battersea through no fault of her own, due to a change in her owners circumstances.

Cali is looking for owners who are keen and enthusiastic in continuing training - as, although she is still young, the Presa Canario breed itself will mature into a large sized dog and will therefore require owners who are confident handling large dogs and physically able to as well as understanding the breed and their traits.

Cali is a sweet, highly motivated girl, who is in need of some confidence building moving forward, as she is still young with a nervous side to her due to her lack of life experience.

Cali can be quite conflicted around other dogs, often reactive out of fear or frustration, however she has also shown a lovely, if a little juvenile, playful side. We feel that Cali would do well living with another dog however they would need to be the absolutely perfect role model with no behavioural concerns whatsoever, and a chat with a rehomer would need to take place on how to best introduce them.

With a loving and caring owner who can introduce her to the world and help her build on her confidence, as well as commit to her training and socialisation, we have no doubt that Cali will grow into a wonderful adult dog who will make a very loyal and affectionate companion to her future person/people!
