Meet our lovely cuddly Pug mix, Cash!

Cash arrived at Battersea through no fault of his own due to a change in his owners' circumstances.

Cash is an affectionate and loving dog who just wants to nuzzle into your lap at all times. Like many pugs, Cash doesn't love to be left alone and has been known to howl at times on his own.

He is a friendly chap who is keen to meet anyone and everyone so long as they'll give him a good scratch.

He enjoys interacting with other dogs but mostly takes himself off to sniff about by himself. He has spent some time on foster and started to come out of his shell around dogs that are not too much for him, initiating gentle play and enjoying a game of chase at times even. He could live with a well matched dog but would need to be calm and steady as due to his breed type, Cash can tire easily and wouldn't cope with something too playful.

Cash is prone to spinning, be it due to excitement or stress we can't determine, but he doesn't let it slow him down. New owners will need to be committed to trying to distract him from practicing this behaviour in his new home. He can be a sensitive boy and tends to spin more when he is aroused--whether excited, stressed, or frustrated, so is likely to do more of this spinning when first settling into a new home.

He's a gorgeous little spinning top who will no doubt put a smile on the face of whoever is lucky enough to take him home.

Cash has a lovely history with children and could potentially live with them again if they are sensible and able to interact calmly with him, not encouraging unwanted behaviours.
