More about CELICA (& SILVIA)
Let us introduce, Celica!
This lovely little lady has joined us from a group of other dogs believed to be related and accustomed to living in a home with many other dogs, possibly up to 70 in total.
Celica has very likely had a sheltered life, not experiencing much of the outside world, including other dogs, people and external environments.
She is currently being kennelled with her friend Silvia, who arrived with Celica. Celica is notably the more worried of the two, with Silvia being a tad more confident. They gain a lot of reassurance from one another, and are looking to be rehomed together to their forever home. :)
New owners should have realistic expectations when it comes to taking worried dogs like Celica and Silvia, and dedicate some time to building a bond with them. They should be prepared to be committed to providing plenty of time and patience to their training, socialisation, and with helping them adjust to their new surroundings.
They will need their own private garden and minimal leaving hours to begin with.
Celica and Silvia will make a wonderful and rewarding project.
If you are interested in Celica and Silvia please contact the rehoming team at: rehoming@battersea.org.uk, ensuring you have first registered for rehoming on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming’
Please note that due to the volume of enquiries we expect to receive, we will only be able to respond to those homes who can best meet their needs.
