More about Chase

Meet our handsome Chase!

Chase arrived at Battersea from wardens after being found as a stray meaning we have minimal information on his history.

Chase is a sweet boy who has been friendly with all staff onsite but has struggled to settle into kennel life and has been stressed onsite, especially when left alone. He loves hands on from his bonded people and will always choose his people over everything else!

Although he loves fusses, he can be a little nervous with aspects of formal handling. He is conflicted and a little underconfident/insecure around dogs so will need some ongoing confidence building and constructive socialisation around dogs moving forward.

Chase has shown a great response to his training onsite with his humans where his confidence with dogs he knows has really bloomed! With the right approach and gentle guidance he is able to make canine friends as long as they are calm/polite. His new owners will need to be confident and keen to continue this training to help him be comfortable with other dogs in the outside world to ensure he doesn't become too overwhelmed.

He loves to explore natural spaces and will therefore thrive in a quiet location with natural woodland areas where he can go for regular walks, as well as a private and secure garden.

Chase is a lovely boy who really just wants to be with his people and is on the hunt for a sofa to retire to in his forever home!
