More about Chetsi
Meet Chelsea, our beautiful 5-year-old Labrador with the most gentle, loving nature. She has a glowing history and is a truly affectionate, people-focused girl who is finding kennel life stressful after such a big change. Chelsea is looking for a loving new home with owners who will allow her to adjust at her own pace.
While Chelsea is friendly and relaxed around other dogs, preferring calm, easy going companions rather than anything too lively, she would prefer to be the only dog living in the home. She is a soft-natured girl who enjoys attention, toys, and food, and she is currently a little overweight so new owners will need to work on this and gradually build her fitness up over time. Chelsea has a wonderful character, she is funny, cheeky, gentle and endlessly loving and loyal. Chelsea is full of beans and loves being out and about, she generally walks nicely on lead but can pull at times.
Prior to meeting Chelsea, potential matches will need to speak to our vets as she does come with some medical considerations and insurance exclusions. She has mild hip dysplasia, has previously had surgery prior to coming to Battersea, and will, therefore, have some ongoing medication costs to keep her comfortable
She would love a sofa to call her own again and would thrive in a stable, loving home where she can finally relax, feel safe again, and enjoy all the home comforts she is used to.
If you feel you could offer Chelsea the home she’s looking for, please contact the rehoming team at rehoming@battersea.org.uk. We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we can discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog in question.
