More about DAISY (WAS SAMMY)
Meet sweet little Sammy!
Sammy came to Battersea along with 3 siblings who were found as strays and handed into a local vets, this means we don't have a lot of history for the first 18 moths of Sammy's life.
With us, we have seen the same worried girl when she first came in, being unsure when walking around our busy London site, as well as being a little nervous around new people. Since coming out of her shell, however, we have seen a girl who clearly loves her known people and once warmed up she has shown to be the sweetest and most affectionate little thing with a sensitive soul.
Sammy has shown to have some good social skills and is able to read the body language displayed by other dogs and adapt her behaviour accordingly, being playful and friendly and also knowing when to leave the other dog alone.
Due to her being a sensitive soul, new owners will need to have some good experience with nervous and under socialised dogs and be willing to devote extra time to help her settle in, build confidence and continue to work on her social skills with people and other dogs.
If you are interested in our sweet little Sammy, please contact the rehoming team at: rehoming@battersea.org.uk, ensuring you have first registered for rehoming on the Battersea website: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.
Please note due to volume of enquiries we may have at any time, we will only look to contact homes that we feel best meet all of Sammy's needs.
