Say hello to Dancer!

Dancer is a gentle soul with a heart full of potential. This graceful retired racing Greyhound has had a big journey already, coming to us from another rescue where she lived alongside her fellow hounds.

Though the world still feels a little overwhelming to her, Dancer is trying her best. She’s shy and a little unsure, often pausing on walks with her tail tucked, taking in the world at her own pace. But beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, affectionate girl who just needs time and love.

She enjoys the quiet company of other dogs and is happiest gently pottering around with them. She's not quite ready for play yet, but her trust is growing day by day. Due to the high chase drive of an ex-racing Greyhound, she will have to be muzzled when out in public.

Dancer is looking for a calm, patient home filled with gentle encouragement. With kindness and consistency, she will flourish—and the bond you'll share with her will be something truly special. She can be a little unsure around some dogs, but may be able to live with another steady greyhound type.
