Daniel is a fun and loving Poodle Cross who is based at Battersea Old Windsor.

Daniel is a friendly dog that loves nothing more than having fuss from people. He will happily flop onto his back and wave his legs in the air until he gets attention and will nudge for more strokes.

As Daniel loves people so much, he does struggle with being left on his own. We know that Daniel has been destructive when left alone before and he is looking for a home with very minimal leaving hours. We do not know how long it will take Daniel to be comfortable on his own and new owners will need to be very mindful of this. Due to this he is also looking to live with more than one adult in his new home.

Daniel enjoys playing and one of his favourite toys is a squeaky pig, which he loves carrying around.

He is currently spending some time in a temporary foster home and he settled in quickly. He has been house trained and travels well in the car, often snoozing on the back seats. He is very polite and respectful and even chooses to go to his own bed when his foster carers are eating.

Daniel does need some ongoing support and management around other dogs. He has shown a mix of behaviours around other dogs, sometimes barking when frustrated and being vocal around them. At other times he can be a little too much for dogs. We would advise walking Daniel in quieter locations to start with but also keeping him socialised with some known dog friends, as keeping him away from other dogs could be detrimental for his behaviour.
