More about DODGE

Dodge came to us from another rescue, arriving with a large burn on his back. We don’t know how it happened, but the good news is that he's healing beautifully – and throughout it all, Dodge has shown nothing but resilience and a heart full of affection.

Though we don’t have much history on him, Dodge has quickly made an impression. He is a young, lively boy with a zest for life and a bouncy, excitable nature that is incredibly endearing. He is still learning his manners, but with the right motivation, Dodge is a joy to train. His enthusiasm is contagious, and it is clear he wants to please - he just needs someone willing to provide ongoing training, that is patient and positive to help guide him along the way.

Kennel life is not easy for a sensitive, social boy like Dodge. He finds it quite stressful and can bark for attention when people are nearby which is due to his need for interaction and companionship.

When out with other dogs, Dodge has shown a friendly side, but his youth can often get the better of him, There is definite potential in his social skills, and with calm, steady introductions and ongoing training, he’ll grow into a much more balanced companion.

Dodge is looking for owners who have experience with young bull breeds and who are open to working closely with our team to ensure he settles happily into home life. He has so much love to give, and with the right home, his cheeky charm and affectionate nature will shine even brighter.

If you are looking for a young dog full of promise, personality, and heart, Dodge might just be the one for you.
