Meet our sweet boy Donald!

Donald arrived at Battersea via another rescue so we no history on him or how he is in a home. Since being onsite he has shown himself to be a sensitive and worried lad who will need gradual exposure to the outside world.

Donald arrived with 6 other Beagles and has been kennelled with one while onsite, he definitely gains confidence when around other dogs so we are looking to either rehoming them together, or he could go home with another dog that is the right match for him. It will be important that the resident dog is a steady and stable role model for him that Donald will benefit from.

Donald is looking for a home away from the inner city, with access to his own private garden so he can discover the world at his own pace, without any overwhelming disturbances. He can live with teens 13+ and could potentially live with a dog savvy cat.

Donald is a gentle and sensitive soul and will need new owners who will give him all the time he needs to build a bond and settle in a home. It is important that his new owners understand that he needs space, and to not overhandle him as this could set him back in his progress with building confidence.
