More about Donny (& Marie)

Meet our delightful duo, Donny & Marie. As they are a bonded pair, they will be looking to be rehomed together as they do gain a lot from being in each other’s company and learning from one another. They are based at Battersea Old Windsor.

Donny (apricot colour) is quite happy to have a laidback lifestyle and can often be found settling in his bed. Whereas Marie (red colour), prefers to enjoy the company of her human friends where she can enjoy fuss and affection.

Donny does have a more worried side when it comes to making friends and can be unsure to begin with but if you allow him to approach at his own pace, he is soon able to make friends and will seek out a gentle fuss from you.
They are looking for owners who can take a patient approach to their care and can allow them to settle at their own pace and adjust to their new routine. They will need all basic training starting from scratch which does include housetraining and recall.

They will need to be the only dogs in the household at this time as they are closely bonded to one another. Donny & Marie have shown to be worried by more animated and playful dogs. To help build their confidence, they would benefit from having calm walking buddies who they can go for regular walks with.

Both Donny & Marie like their treats, they are not particularly fussy but their favourite treat right now is chicken and they will gently take it from your hand when it is offered.
Donny and Marie will make loyal companions and will bring plenty of smiles to a new home.
