More about Evan

Evan is a big soft-hearted Akita who came to us when his owner could no longer manage a multi-dog home.

He has had very little experience of walks in recent years, mainly being exercised in a garden, but is now learning quickly.
On site he is affectionate, people-focused, and full of charm.

He loves fuss, leans in for attention, and builds strong bonds quickly.
He is now enjoying his walks and improving with loose lead walking and recall.

He is still learning how to be properly social with other dogs but can calmly sniff and walk alongside others when set up well.
Evan will suit an experienced home who can continue his training, and enjoy his loyal, loving nature.
