More about Fizzgig

Meet Fizzgig, a fluffy French Bulldog with a curious personality and a love for exploring the world through his nose.

Fizzgig came into our care after being found as a stray and spending some time in foster care with one of our partner organisations. During that time he showed himself to be a friendly and sociable little dog who enjoys spending time with people.

Fizzgig loves getting out on his walks and is happiest when he can take his time sniffing and investigating interesting smells. He can sometimes become very interested in other dogs he meets while out and about, so his new owners will need to continue helping him learn to calmly move on from these exciting encounters.

Fizzgig has shown to be quite worried and stressed during clinical handling so owners will need to work on some desensitising around this but with his bonded handlers he has shown to be much more comfortable with the reassurance this offers.

This little man could potentially live with sensible older children & possibly even a dog savvy cat.

With patient owners who are happy to guide his training and give him time to settle, Fizzgig has the potential to become a fun and affectionate companion.

He would love a home where he can enjoy plenty of sniff-filled walks and curious little adventures with his new family.
