More about FLO

Sweet little Jess has an incredible story.

Jess arrived at Battersea a stray who was found with a very large mass on her right shoulder. She received medical treatment when she arrived at Battersea, and that is when her recovery journey began. You may be able to to see her recovering wound in the pictures. Jess brightens any room she is in, bouncing around, wagging her tail and playing with her toys. She doesn't let her ordeal bring her down her spirit.

As she is a stray we have limited information about her and what she is like outside of a rescue environment. We suspect Jess is a Shih Tzu crossed with a Pug but we are not able to say for certain. Since being onsite has shown herself to be a lively little girl who is full of life.

Jess has also been a friendly girl with other dogs, happy to have a sniff but equally happy to potter about and do her own thing. We feel she is best suited to being the only dog in the home to get all the fusses for herself! She may be able to live with an equally independent dog.

Jess really is a sweet older lady looking for her own special retirement home. She can live with teens 13+ and possibly live with a cat. She is a lovely girl with a lot of love to give and would make a great cuddle companion in any home lucky enough to have her!
