More about GEEZER

Sweet Geezer came to Battersea with another dog, due to a change in their owners circumstances and through no fault of their own. He has a history of squabbling over food with his sister so they were therefore split during their stay at Battersea. Since coming in Geezer has shown to be a very gentle and worried soul. He has found kennel life quite depressing and is usually found curled up in his bed feeling down.

Although he has been consistently quite worried around people during his stay, once he has warmed up he is an affectionate boy who likes a gentle fuss. Geezer has been worried when meeting other dogs and mostly wants to do his own thing and stick with his known people rather than interact with dogs. He will need to be the only dog in the home at this time.

He can often find being out and about around our busy London site quite overwhelming, sometimes trembling when out on walks. He will need to live in a quieter location away from the inner city to help him build in confidence to the big wide world.

Geezer is a gentle boy with a sensitive side to him. He will make a lovely addition in his new home as he finds his feet and builds in confidence to the big wide world.

If you think that Geezer might just be the companion you are searching for, then please contact the Rehoming team in London ASAP, on rehoming@battersea.org.uk, providing an overview of your previous experience with dogs, current set up and how you can meet his needs.

If you have not registered to rehome with us yet, please do so on the Battersea website here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming before getting in touch.
