More about Honeydew
Meet our little Honeydew!
Honeydew arrived at Battersea a stray so we have no history on her or how she is in a home.
When she arrived she was not in the best state and as a result has had one of her legs amputated, however this has not slowed her down and staff have been impressed at how quickly she is recovering.
Honeydew is a sweet and sensitive soul who can be worried of new people and handling. She is looking for new owners who are aware of her sensitive side and will allow her to settle in at her own pace. Honeydew can greet other dogs nicely but does not get a lot out of interacting with them. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home with her socialisation taking place in more neutral spaces. This little lady is looking for a home away from the inner city with access to her own private garden. She can live with sensible teens 13 + and may be able to live with a dog savvy cat.
Honeydew is ready for a new chapter in her life and a home where she can have all the love and fusses she deserves. She is a delightful girl who will make the most loyal of companions in the home.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
