More about HUXLEY

Huxley is a charming and affectionate boy who is looking for his new owners to be able to provide him with plenty of company and exercise. He is currently at our Old Windsor Centre, if after reading his information you would like to know more about him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Huxley is partially blind, new owners will need to keep this in mind when interacting with him and introducing him to different environments, new people and other dogs. New owners would need to speak to a Battersea Vet before rehoming Huxley.

Huxley is a busy boy and a typical Spaniel in many ways, he loves to use his nose to explore new environments and is looking for active owners that will provide the mental and physical stimulation he needs to keep his brain busy and help him settle into his new home. A private secure garden would be beneficial for Huxley as he will need basic training from scratch and his own space to help destress and explore without any distractions or worries.

He is a friendly boy around other dogs but often has his nose down sniffing and exploring rather then choosing to greet dogs, he has also shown some sexual and pestering behaviours. Huxley is continuing to work on socialisation to improve these interactions and has been doing very well. At this time, we feel it is best for him to be the only dog in the household.

Huxley is a loveable character and will make a joyful companion, if you are interested in rehoming him please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.

If you have not registered yet, please do so on the Battersea website https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming
