More about Jacob

Jacob is a delightful and sweet natured dog who has a sensitive side. He is based at our Old Windsor Centre.

Jacob loves to play with toys, he enjoys chasing tennis balls and tug games with his favourite people. He has shown to be bouncy and can become over excited in different situations. We feel it is best for Jacob’s new family to be adults only due to his overstimulation behaviours.

He has been excitable when meeting new people out and about, he makes friends with treats. He has been doing well with his training and enjoys going on walks and toy play while getting to know new people.

We use enrichment to provide mental and physical stimulation for Jacob in chill out areas to help him settle and keep him busy. This will also encourage exploring and independent behaviour while in garden areas. Due to being a larger breed and his bouncy side, he will need a private and secure garden to help burn his energy and for him to have his own secure space to explore and continue his training.

Jacob has been friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has shown to be respectful and playful. We feel Jacob could live with another dog of similar size that will enjoy his playstyle and also show Jacob the ropes with calmer interactions.

Jacob will make an active and enjoyable companion in his new home.
