More about JENSON

Jenson is an active Jack Russell Terrier that has plenty of personality to shine in a new home. Jenson is based at Battersea in Old Windsor, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk if you were interested in him.

Jenson has spent some time in a foster home. His foster carers say he settled in brilliantly and they really enjoyed his company at home. He travels well in the car, sleeps quietly at night and potters to the front door in the morning to ask to go out for his walk. Toys have also been a great way to build a bond with Jenson, he knows fetch and will happily play all day if he could. He also picked up house training fairly quickly.

Jenson does not enjoy being around children and even finds hearing them very stressful, so he needs to live in an adult only home, and go for walks in quieter places.

He has shown mostly good social skills with dogs that he has met here at Battersea Old Windsor, but new owners will need to work on his interactions as he can pester dogs at times not read when they have had enough. Due to these behaviours, we feel it would be best that Jenson is the only dog in a home.

Jenson can find aspects of handling stressful especially when going to the vets. New owners will need to be comfortable to support him through vet visits in future. He has made friends with our clinic staff here which has really helped him, we would recommend for this to be done in a new vet practice so it’s such a stressful place.

Jenson is a sweet dog that has bonded well with our staff here, wanting fuss and always greeting with a wagging tail. As we have seen in his foster home, we’re sure it will not take long for him to show his charming affectionate character in a new home.
