More about Jessie

Meet Jessie!

Jessie is our lovely little Cane Corso pup who arrived at Battersea due to her owners no longer being able to care for her.

Jessie has a sweet but sensitive personality, with her previous owners describing her as being a friendly and affectionate pup. She lived with other dogs (including her littermates) and a cat in her previous home and reportedly has a lovely history. In addition to her sweet and gentle personality, onsite Jessie has proven to have sensitive worried side, and lacks confidence so has been having ongoing confidence building onsite to support her. She can be overwhelmed by the world around her and can be worried when meeting new people and dogs, but warms up quickly and melts into the arms of her known people.

Jessie is used to living with dogs but did have a squabble with a litter mate, so we feel she is best suited to being the only dog in the home with her socialisation taking place in neutral spaces. Although, there is the possibility to flex if living with experienced owners who have a role model type dog. She may be a small puppy now but has some growing to do, so new owners need to be confident in handling large breed dogs. Jessie is looking for a new home away from the inner city and will need access to her own private garden. She can live with teens 13 + and may be able to live with a dog savvy cat!
