More about KIA
Kia came to Battersea after being found wandering by local dog wardens, and while life in kennels has been a little overwhelming for her, she's now enjoying the comfort of a foster home where her lovely personality is shining through.
She’s picked up house training quickly and is doing well with a consistent routine—though she still needs regular toilet breaks every couple of hours or will use a puppy pad. Kia is also working on being left alone. While she finds solo time challenging and can become vocal, she has shown she can settle on her own in a room, so there's real potential with the right support.
What Kia loves most is people—she soaks up affection from everyone she meets and gives it back in bundles. She’s a true lovebug who thrives on attention and company.
Kia has met a number of dogs and tends to be calm and polite with steady, gentle companions. While she enjoys a friendly greeting, she prefers quieter dogs, as she isn’t too keen on sharing affection with boisterous or overly playful types.
Now heading into her senior years, Kia is looking for a calm, loving home with experienced owners who have taken the time to understand her breed and the specific needs of brachycephalic dogs. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Kia will make a truly devoted companion.
