More about Lassie

Meet our lovely Lassie!

Lassie is an ex-racing Greyhound who arrived at Battersea after retiring from her racing career. Although she was described as being friendly and nice with people, Lassie has proven to be a sensitive girl who can easily be overwhelmed by life in general. She is a slow burn, but during her stay has been making baby steps every day and is beginning to come out of her shell more and more every day.

She has required a gentle approach, but with this has begun to trust her handlers, and even though the signs are slight, she in turn has proven that she really does want to trust and be loved. Lassie is looking for a home with owners who can provide her with the time and space she needs to show her true personality and continue growing her confidence.

The slight improvements we see every day have been so rewarding to see, and we have no doubt that given the time and space to come out of her shell, Lassie will make the most wonderful companion for her person.
