Meet Leia!

Leia is a beautiful mixed-breed dog with a lovely history. In her previous home, she was described as a sweet girl who loved spending time with her favourite people, whether that was playing together or simply relaxing by their side.

Leia can be a little sensitive at times, and we've seen some of her worried behaviours while she's been with us, particularly around other dogs. That said, she's also shown she can be very sociable and playful with the right canine friends. She has met lots of different people on site and is always a real wiggle-butt when greeting them!

Leia is looking for owners who have some knowledge or experience of supporting a sensitive dog and can help continue building her confidence. She would be happiest in a quieter location away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city, with multiple carers in the home so she has plenty of company while she settles in. With time, patience and understanding, we're sure Leia will settle quickly and become a wonderful addition to her forever home.
