More about Lillith
Our wonderful gentle Lillith is an easy going lady who is affectionate and sweet. She likes to lounge around on a duvet and is very quiet and clean in her kennel. Lillith loves to potter around and explore our woodlands and is also partial to a game of tug with her handlers and can often be found lying in her kennel with a soft toy between her paws.
Lillith came into us with limited information but we do know she has lived in a home previously and did live with another dog, who did not get on with her. During her time with us, she has captured our hearts with her sweet, mature personality and her love of a treat (or two!). Lillith walks well on a loose lead and has some good basics, such as a SIT cue, already in place. She has also been completely house trained during her stay with us, which is unusual for a dog in a kennel environment.
The beautiful brindle lady would love a quiet and settled household with people who can give her the life she truly deserves. She could live with teenagers and should be fine to be left for short periods throughout the day, as long as her new family can build the time she spends alone in a positive and sympathetic way. Although she is largely independent and not bothered by other dogs, Lillith can show some intolerant behaviours when she first greets them, being a bit focused and giving controlled but unnecessary reprimands. She has made progress in this area, but we are advising she is kept on lead and her muzzle when walked in her new home. For this reason, she will need a private and secure garden to call her own.
Lillith will honestly make a low maintenance and easy going companion in a home who are not too fussed about having a very dog social dog. She won't ask for much, but we are confident she will give so much in return and she deserves your consideration if you are looking for an easy going lass to slot right into your lifestyle.
