Meet our lovely giant Lucho!

Lucho came to Battersea through no fault of his own, as his owners previous circumstances changed. In his previous home and at Battersea he loved his known people although struggled at times to meet new people due to under confidence. However, with extra training he has learnt to grow in confidence and make new friends in his own time and lots of tasty treats.

With us, we have seen a gentle but sensitive lad for a larger dog. Similar to his history, he can be quite wary of new people and struggle to make friends initially, however, when he does, he loves a nice fuss! With other dogs, while he can be quite vocal towards them when unsure if to play with them , once greeting he has been able to show some friendly and playful behaviours, though can also be a little worried initially and will need further confidence building. For these reasons we feel he is best suited to being the only pet in his new home.

Lucho is a big boy with a gentle soul and is looking for owners with some experience of owning giant breeds who would not only be able to manage his size and strength, but would also be able to give him the time and resources to settle into his new environment. Once settled, he is sure to be the biggest and loveliest boy in any home lucky enough to have him!
