Meet the lovely Maui!

Maui is a beautiful, sensitive boy with a heart full of potential. He’s had a lovely history with both people and other dogs, though he can be a little unsure at times. Since joining us, Maui has shown that he just needs a bit of extra time and patience to feel safe and comfortable around new people.

Once Maui trusts you, his sweet, loyal nature really shines through. He’s already made great progress in his training - he knows a strong “bed” cue and happily goes to his spot when new people enter a room. His new family will need to continue this positive training to help him keep growing in confidence.

Maui would thrive in a calm, quiet home with experienced owners who understand large, guarding breeds. He’ll do best somewhere away from the bustle of the city, where he can relax, explore, and expand his comfort zone at his own pace.

With time, love, and patience, Maui will reward you with unshakable loyalty and affection - turning your house into a true home!
